The Shrine of All Saints is housed in St. Martha of Bethany Church in Morton Grove, which was founded in 1919.
Please note that we need 20 people to sign up and confirm the caterer. Signup must be completed by Sunday, November 3. If 20 people do not sign up, your fee will be refunded.
On November 1, 2015, the Shrine was declared a diocesan shrine by Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago and since July 1, 2022, St. Martha of Bethany has been a part of All Saints Parish.
The Shrine of All Saints currently contains the relics of more than 3000 different saints, making it the second largest collection of such relics in America after St. Anthony’s Shrine in Pittsburgh.
We will begin our tour at 11 a.m. in the Small Church viewing the stunning, modern stained glass windows. A catered lunch will be served and then we will have a private tour led by Father Dennis O'Neill, the driving force behind this amazing collection. Saints, whose stories are of particular interest to PrimeTimers, will be featured. The group is invited to remain after the tour to attend the 4 p.m. Mass.
Pre-paid tickets are $20 and can be paid on line.A portion of your ticket price will be donated to the Shrine. Additional donations will be accepted on the day of the tour.
