We invite you to join us for a World AIDS Day Gathering at AIDS Garden Chicago on December 2nd at 12PM. December will soon be here, and it begins with World AIDS Day. Since 1988, communities around the world have stood together in recognition to show continued strength and solidarity against HIV/AIDS. AIDS Garden Chicago is a special space for us on World AIDS Day and every day. It is our city’s first public monument that memorializes the early days of the AIDS epidemic in Chicago and honors those who continue to fight today. Since its official opening in 2022, AIDS Garden Chicago has quickly become a cherished community park to gather, remember, reflect, learn, and connect. We hope you have had the opportunity to spend time there and enjoy its beauty and peace. Please join us on December 2nd. The Chicago Parks Foundation is thankful to everyone who has made AIDS Garden Chicago a true Garden for All by making it part of your life.
Find more information about the garden and event here.
There is no cost for this event. No RSVP for the city is needed, but we would like to know if you are attending so we can watch out for you.
