We’re excited to announce that the director and cast of Gangsta Baby—a bold, funny, and thought-provoking new play presented by Open Space Arts—will be joining us at the September Open Social of the Chicago PrimeTimers!
The show’s award-winning director, Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE, (left in photo below) is a UK-based writer, filmmaker, and activist known for creating groundbreaking work that centers on queer and voices. He’ll be joined by author and star of the show Cameron Raasdal-Munro.
Come enjoy great conversation, learn more about this exciting production, and help us welcome these visiting artists to Chicago!
As always, there will be exciting door prizes! Tickets are just $1 each or six for $5, and can be purchased in advance at the CPT Store or at the door.

Price Structure: Ann Sather and Chicago PrimeTimers have worked together to keep the Monthly Open Social affordable at a price of only $25 per person. However, this price is available only for members who register and prepay online by the Thursday before the event. The price is $30 for all others, including nonmembers, members who pay at the door, and members who register and prepay after the Thursday before the event.
Your ticket includes a full buffet featuring a selection of entrées, seasonal vegetables, fresh salad, desserts, and unlimited coffee and tea — and sometimes even Ann Sather’s famous cinnamon rolls when available. Soft drink cans are available for $3, and juices and smoothies for $5. Please bring exact change for those items.
