Enjoy a wonderful CPT tradition: a backyard picnic at the Wilmette home of Russ Bond.
The entrée will be catered, and everyone attending is asked to bring something to share, such as a dessert, side dish, salad, or appetizer. Please also bring whatever you would like to drink.
In mid-August, we will send out a sign-up list so people can let us know what they are bringing. The list will also include opportunities to sign up to help with set-up or clean-up.
If you are bringing something that needs to stay cold, especially a chilled dessert, please bring it in a cooler with ice so it can stay fresh during the afternoon heat. We will not have access to full refrigeration.
Free street parking is available in the neighborhood. Both the Purple Line and Metra Union Pacific stops are nearby.
Please bring a lawn chair, if possible, so you will have a comfortable place to sit.
We will have some lawn games available for anyone interested in a little activity, or you can simply relax under the beautiful, enormous oak trees of Wilmette and enjoy the company of friends.
The CPT LABOR DAY PICNIC will take place on Sunday, September 6. In the event of rain, the picnic will move to Monday, September 7.
During CPT events, photographs may be taken for use in our social media, newsletter, and website. Please let us know if you prefer not to be included in photos.
