Opera Festival of Chicago presents «La Bohème» at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts • [Skokie]

Puccini’s La Bohème is the definitive portrait of “Bohemian” life. In the frozen garrets of Paris, we meet the dreamers: the poets, painters, philosophers, and musicians who sacrifice everything for their craft and for each other. It is a timeless story of youthful passion and the fragile beauty of a love that flickers brightly before the cold reality of the world intrudes.

The opera will be presented at the George Van Dusen Theatre at North Shore Center in Skokie. The performance will last 2 hours and 40 minutes with a 20‑minute intermission and will be performed in Italian with English supertitles.
