THE SWALLOW at Open Space Arts [Uptown]

Chicago Prime Timers are invited to attend THE SWALLOW at Open Space Arts on Sunday, September 20 at 3:00 PM.

Written by internationally produced Catalan playwright Guillem Clua, author of SMILEY, and translated by Tim Gutteridge, THE SWALLOW is an intimate and deeply moving two-character drama directed by Laine Rogers.

What begins as a private singing lesson between a choral director and a new student gradually becomes something far more personal. With humor, tension, and emotional precision, the play explores grief, memory, family, faith, identity, and the possibility of connection when two strangers are finally willing to listen.
